CroCapeTours Terms and Conditions

Booking Confirmation
To confirm your reservation, a **minimum of 50% deposit** is required. The remaining balance must be settled no later than **14 days prior** to the scheduled service date.
Important Notice: Online bookings must be made at least **48 hours in advance**. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings done within 48 hours of the requested service time.
Itinerary Changes & Liability
CroCape Tours is **not responsible** for changes to the itinerary or tour schedule caused by external factors beyond our control, including but not limited to **weather, natural disasters, accidents, or road closures**. Should such an event occur, clients will be promptly notified, and we will make every effort to provide an alternative service of equal value.
CroCape Tours is **not liable** for any lost or damaged personal property during the tour.
CroCape Tours Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy outlines the terms for cancelling a tour booking made with CroCape Tours. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. How to Cancel Your Tour
To ensure efficient processing, all cancellation requests must be made by the person who made the booking and initiated via the following methods. Please include your **Booking Reference Number** in all correspondence.
- **Email:** Send your cancellation request to info@crocapetours.co.za
- **Booking Portal:** Use the "Request to Cancel" button on your Booking Confirmation page (if applicable to your system).
2. Standard Cancellation Policy
We calculate all cancellation deadlines based on the local time zone of the tour start location.

3. "Cancel Anytime" Flexible Policy (Optional Add-On)
For an additional fee paid at checkout, you can select our "Cancel Anytime" policy, which offers enhanced flexibility:
- Cancellation before the tour start time: You will receive a **full refund of the tour cost**, minus the service fee and the cost of the "Cancel Anytime" policy itself.
- Cancellation on or after the tour start time: **No refund** will be provided.
- Credit Option: If you purchase this policy but do not cancel or take the tour, we will issue you a **credit equal to the cost of the "Cancel Anytime" policy**. This credit is valid for two (2) years and can be used toward any future CroCape Tour booking.
4. Cancellations Due to Unforeseeable Events (Force Majeure)
You may qualify for a **Full Refund (including all fees)** if your tour is cancelled or prevented by an unforeseen event that is out of your control and occurs after your booking is confirmed.
Examples of Qualifying Unforeseeable Events:
- **Travel Restrictions:** Government-imposed travel bans or restrictions that prevent you from reaching the destination.
- **Disasters:** Impersonal events such as war, civil unrest, strikes, extreme weather, earthquakes, or natural disasters that make the tour unsafe or impossible.
- **Transportation Failure:** A flight or cruise cancellation where no alternative means of travel to the tour destination exists.
Events That Do Not Qualify for Refund:
The following circumstances are **not covered** by this clause and are subject to the Standard Cancellation Policy:
- Illness, injury, or medical conditions of any participant.
- Poor weather (unless deemed extreme and unsafe by CroCape Tours).
- Change of personal plans, work conflicts, or oversleeping.
CroCape Tours reserves the right to determine what constitutes an Unforeseeable Event and may require official documentation or verification.
5. Policy Amendments
